Commercial cattle listings eased this week, with 13,567 head offered through AuctionsPlus—a 39% drop on the previous week. Despite the reduced offering, the market was buoyed by strong buyer competition, particularly for breeding lines and heavier feeder steers. Recent widespread rainfall across key grazing regions may have helped drive renewed confidence, with clearance rates lifting and prices strengthening across many categories.
