This week's interfaced stud sale spotlight for the week ending Friday, August 1, will be one to remember for the 2025 Spring stud selling season.
From setting new stud sale records on AuctionsPlus to bulls entering six-figure territory, the team at AuctionsPlus is well and truly settling into the thick of selling season.
Fierce online activity this week helped propel several vendors to full clearance and record prices across a range of stud offerings and breeds.
The spotlight this week belonged to Clunie Range Untouchable U441, a 30-month-old sire so highly regarded by the stud that he had already been used within their own program prior to sale.
Kicking off the auction in emphatic fashion, Untouchable U441 sold for $300,000, setting a new high for the stud.
The powerhouse bull was purchased by a five-way syndicate involving Mandayen Limousin & Angus, Featherstone Angus, Twin Oaks Angus NZ, Ranui Angus, and STgenetics Australia BEEF, cementing his value across both domestic and international seedstock programs.
The sale concluded with full clearance with 201/201 bulls sold to an average price of $15,538. Online bidders participating in the sale via AuctionsPlus secured 24 lots across 13 successful bidders.
The top priced lot secured online was lot 88, purchased for $32,000. The online average price was $13,000.
All eyes were on the Texas Angus 57th Bull Sale, which made headlines for setting a new AuctionsPlus record for the highest number of individual log-ins to a stud sale.

All 283 bulls offered found a buyer, with a sale average of $16,226.
The top-priced bull, Texas U-Cracker U983, was knocked down for $75,000 to return buyers Chris and Robin Kemp of Eungy Pastoral Company, Blackall, Queensland, who also purchased the sale topper last year.
Remarked in it's description, Texas U-Cracker U938 was considered by a friend of the Mayne family as “2000 pounds of Twisted Steel and Sex Appeal, a body that Bulls would Fear and heifers would Love."
The young sire scored in the top 2-4% of the Angus breed for 200-day, 400-day and 600-day growth of +70, +118 and +161, respectively.
Its CWT (carcase weight) EBV is +99 eye muscle area (EMA) +9.1, and intramuscular fat EBV is +2.8.
Earlier in the sale, a stud heifer was sold for $32,500, with the entire proceeds generously donated to Angus Australia's youth program.
The auction grossed $4.59 million, underscoring both the quality and reputation of the Texas Angus brand.
Earlier in the month, Knowla Livestock’s Annual Bull Sale in Gloucester produced its own share of headlines.
