This week’s stud sales interfaced through AuctionsPlus delivered outstanding results across several breeds, with northern cattle breeders in particular celebrating special milestones.
From the 20th anniversary of P.B. Fenech Grey Brahmans in Queensland, to Australia’s most remote bull sale in Fitzroy Crossing, clearance rates and strong averages demonstrated buyer confidence and demand nationwide.

The P.B. Fenech Grey Brahman stud celebrated its 20th year of hosting an annual bull sale with two memorable events at Sarina, Queensland, both interfaced through AuctionsPlus.
The Sundowner Sale on Thursday evening showcased 40 lots, including females, bulls, and genetics, and achieved a near-complete clearance. Bulls sold to a top of $30,000, while yearling heifers fetched up to $28,000, and semen reached $1,100 per straw.
One of the standout results was the 13-month-old heifer, PBF Kaley Manso 814/25, a daughter of JDH Massai Pemba Manso, which sold for $28,000 to DG Ranch in Thailand.
Buyers came from three mainland states and two overseas destinations, reflecting the international appeal of the stud’s genetics.
The Friday morning Day Sale continued the celebrations, with bulls selling to a top of $40,000, rounding out two highly successful days for the Fenech family.
Across both sale, buyers bidding via AuctionsPlus secured 10 lots across five different states.
Strong results were also recorded at the Benelkay Santa Gertrudis annual bull sale, held on property at Mullaley, NSW, where 31 bulls from 35 offered were sold, achieving an average of $11,322.
This result was nearly $1,900 higher than the average achieved at last year’s sale, a great result for the Orman family.
The top price of $30,000 was paid by Queensland breeder Craig Hindle of Bullamakinka Santa Gertrudis at Drillham, who secured Benelkay Ultrabox U016 (PP).

Another Drillham breeder, Cyril Gauld of Moongana Santa Gertrudis, purchased Lot 2, Benelkay U2 U002 (PP), for $26,000.
Volume buyers included JR & SK Cattle Co of Longreach, bidding online via AuctionsPlus, who assembled six bulls to average $7,500, with purchases up to $11,000.
Online participation was again a strong feature of the sale, with eight active AuctionsPlus bidders placing bids on 23 lots, and five buyers successfully securing 11 bulls online.
The 3R Premium Angus Genetics Bull Sale achieved a complete clearance, with all 47 bulls sold and reaching a top price of $40,000.
The highest-priced bull, Lot 21, 3RLS Blueprint V045, was purchased by Boonaroo Angus.

The sale averaged $13,894, while three embryo packages also changed hands to average $1,341 per embryo.
Online engagement was keen and considerable, with 13 AuctionsPlus bidders driving competition.
Six lots were purchased online by five successful bidders, with bids placed on more than half the catalogue, highlighting the demand for 3R Angus genetics across the country.
Meanwhile, Australia’s most remote bull sale, the Fitzroy Crossing Bull Sale in Western Australia’s Kimberley region, concluded with almost complete clearance for the second consecutive year of being interfaced online through AuctionsPlus.
A total of 139 lots were offered by multiple vendors offering different breeds. With 123 sold, the sale concluded with 98% clearance of head.

This year's sale topper was a two-year old Red Brangus bull. The bull was offered by Redline Cattle Company, and was sired by JATEEBEE QUEENSLANDER (PP).
Auction takings reached $666,500 and averaged $5,419. Online activity was notable, with 145 logins, 27 online bids, and four lots purchased via AuctionsPlus.
The catalogue also attracted significant interest, with 1,842 online views, ensuring that the Kimberley sale connected with buyers across the nation.
