With all physical selling centres in recess for the first of three weeks, attention turned to the AuctionsPlus EOFY Summary 2020-21. The AuctionsPlus offer board sold 34,557 bales during FY21, increasing 85% from the previous fiscal year. In the light of NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian supporting the declaration of a ‘national emergency’ it is likely we see increased activity on the offer board in coming weeks as buyers look to fill quotas.

The AuctionsPlus online offer board saw a decrease in sales for this week with 286 bales sold for the week. 71 bales of 17µ micron wool sold to a top of 1,905c/kg greasy or 2,574c/kg dry. 20µ micron wool was the most sought after this week with 114 bales sold for the period, selling to a top of 1,051c/kg greasy or 1,401c/kg dry. The top priced lot online this week was 1 bale of 16.3µ micron Merino fleece wool which sold for 1,930c/kg greasy or 2,741c/kg dry. This lot was offered by Elders – Victoria, is “MT SUGARLOAF” branded, 66mm in length and had 0.6% vegetable matter.

AuctionsPlus has released its EOFY Summary for 2020-21.
