Promoting Aussie Ag & Its Primary Producers

Written by #ThankAFarmerForYourNextMeal | Feb 2, 2021 5:21:31 AM

Our goal when we started Thank A Farmer For Your Next Meal was to promote Aussie Ag and it’s primary producers. A big part of our business is our merchandise, which we utilise to start positive conversations about agriculture.

We truly believe that if we can give the consumer a better insight into what processes their products endured from paddock to plate, field to fork or fibre to fashion then they will gain a deeper understanding of the genuine worth of our agricultural produce.

With the rise of internet trolls and keyboard warriors it appeared to us that our consumers were regularly being fed an untrue, fabricated narrative that was so far from reality it wasn’t funny. We decided as a way to combat this that we would use the power of social media as a platform to showcase the truth behind where Aussie food and fibre comes from, who makes it, and how it is made – one photo, video or story at a time.

Check out below some of our good mates looking flash in some of our gear.

“Hey Ma! The rains are here!” – Wheatbelt, Western Australia

@ourtribeofgals

“Gettin’ it done” – Warren, New South Wales

@f.a.r.m.i

“Farmer (fahr*mer): Noun – 1. A person who is outstanding in their field”

@the.naked.farmer

“There’s no better place to learn than in the paddock something was once grown” - Western Victoria

@vceventsco

"The meat and the wheat, and the food that we eat, and the butter we spread on our bread all comes from the love of the man on the soil and that’s how the nations are fed” – Unknown – Jugiong, NSW

AuctionsPlus x Thank A Farmer

Together we have one goal – to showcase where Australian food and fibre comes from, who makes it and how it’s made. The Thank A Farmer For Your Next Meal brand aims to promote the Australian agricultural industry and its primary producers to a wider audience in order to close the continually widening gap between producer and consumer, city and bush.

Have you got a picture that you think demonstrates this or would go well on our page?
