So far in 2021, there has been 16,000 head of Brahman commercial cattle offered through AuctionsPlus.

The heavier Brahman steer category reported an average price of $1,297/head for 2021, up 28% on the same period last year ($1,012/head) and 46% up on 2019 prices ($890/head).

Young lighter heifers 200-280kg liveweight had the largest supply for the January to May period, with listings of 5,116 head. The category averaged $1,007/head for 2021, increasing 44% from 2020 ($701/head) and 115% from 2019 ($468/head).

1,366 head of PTIC cows were listed for the period in 2021, with prices averaging $1,570/head, increasing by 43% from 2020 and 59% from 2019.

Cows with CAF averaged $1,958/head for 2021, with 2,295 head offered, increasing 9% from 2020 and 157% from 2019.
