Held on Saturday, 10th December, the “Hour for Eugowra” raised a total of $38,475 across the 20 lots on offer. Held in conjunction with the Buy from the Bush popup markets at the Rocks, Sydney, interfacing with AuctionsPlus enabled those from far and wide to get involved, with all funds raised donated to the Eugowra Flood Appeal. Kind and generous donations for the auction included several accommodation packages, RM Williams boots, artwork, along with a variety of accessories and homewares. Online bidders competed heavily against those in attendance, seeing 40% of the offering secured by online bidders across Queensland, Victoria, and NSW.
The auction attracted plenty of attention, with 8,425 catalogue views, which saw 158 users login to the auction. The top price for the auction was Lot 2 “Boorowa Blowout” – a prize donated by the community of Boorowa, which included a weekend away for eight people to experience the township. Another highlight included Lot 5 – A Jayde Chandler artwork “Daughter Of The Land” from Barcaldine, Queensland, which returned $4,300.
Ongoing support from the community of Eugowra is very much appreciated to help support rebuilding the town. To make a donation or find out more about the Eugowra Flood Appeal please CLICK HERE.
