Multi-vendor sales on AuctionsPlus have become increasingly popular in recent years, with a growing audience delivering excellent range, prices, and feedback for participants. Joint marketing efforts from local regions and agencies have helped to drive a large amount of traffic online, allowing multiple vendors to connect with a significantly larger customer base.

The ability to bring together a multitude of both vendors and buyers in a unified online selling stage amplifies selling opportunities and broadens the audience. Multi-vendor sales on AuctionsPlus have not solely been livestock based - multi-vendor clearing and machinery sales have also become a regular appearance on the platform. Of particular note, the recent Nutrien Ag Solutions Multi-Vendor Clearing Sale held on Tuesday April 5th, attracted a hive of online activity, with the sale attracting 20,029 catalogue views and a total of 2,180 users logging into the 129 lot sale - with most vendors based around Nyngan in Central West NSW.

A highlight from the sale included an Oztec 2010 21T Chaser Bin which sold online for $85,500, to a buyer from Trangie, NSW. A total of 94 lots sold online to buyers spanning from Queensland, NSW, Victoria, and WA. A total of 2,184 users logged into during the sale, with 205 active bidders placing 1,762 bids throughout the online sale.

The sale had a total of 42 lots, which were offered from 16 different vendors. The offering consisted of Dorper, White Dorper, Wiltipoll and Australian White ewes, lambs and rams.

The sale received a total of 3,203 catalogue views and registered 183 individual user logins across the sale. A total of 14 lots from the sale were sold to ten different online buyers, stretching across NSW and Victoria. Across the sale 296 online bids were placed over the course of the 90-minute sequential auction.

Highlights of the Shedding breed sale included a total of 125 Station Mated Australian White ewe lambs, split across five different lots, offered by “R B Jones and Partners”. The Jul-Aug ’21 drop ewe lambs weighed an average of 60kg lwt and returned between $1,010-$1,100/head across the five lots - with three lines purchased by AuctionsPlus bidders from both NSW and Victoria. Bidding activity was strong across the five lines of Australian whites, with a total of four different online users bidding on the first pen of ewe lambs.
