‘Bona Vista’ has been relisted for sale at $27.5m after being passed in at auction for $17.5 m in September 2023, according to Beef Central. 

The exclusion-fenced ‘Bona Vista’ is situated 70km from St George and halfway between Roma and Mitchell.  

The property is being offered by Lance and Margaret Fox who are retiring.  

The country has 60% self-mulching black soils, with the balance lighter red loams. 

Grasses are mostly Buffel and Mitchell with some areas planted to improved pastures, running about 2500 adult equivalents, with 200ha planted to oats. 

‘Bona Vista’ is divided into 18 paddocks all connected with a strategic laneway system for ease of handling. 

The infrastructure is described as excellent and includes two homes, a machinery shed, two sets of steel cattle yards and an airstrip.

Junee ‘turn-key’ offered after three decades

The ‘Gundary Aggregation’, owned by David and Kerry Fife, has been offered to the market for the first time in 36 years.  

The holding includes four farms: Lochiel (628ha), Girrawheen (479ha), Myrnong (714ha), and Aerodrome Lane (87ha), totalling 1,907ha of mixed farming land in the Eastern Riverina region of NSW.  

The properties are located between Junee and Wagga Wagga and feature red-brown clay loam soils with high natural fertility and a 550mm annual rainfall. 

The current livestock program features a high-performing first-cross flock, historically carrying up to 9,000 Merino ewes crossed with Border Leicester and Dorset rams, with a carrying capacity of 23,500 DSE. 

The aggregation includes substantial lucerne pastures and 655ha of winter cash crops for 2024, making it a “turn-key” mixed-farming enterprise.  

The sale is via a two-stage Expressions of Interest process, with Stage 1 closing on July 4, 2024.

The ‘Eltham Aggregation’, located in Queensland’s Central West region, has been listed for sale by Expressions of Interest. The aggregation spans two freehold titles and boasts 15km of Barcoo River frontage. 

Located 44km from Isisford and 30km from Yaraka, the aggregation has an estimated carrying capacity of 1,575 Adult Equivalents. 

The land types include alluvial plains, hard gidgee, boree wooded and open downs country, to support a mix of herbages, pastures, and trees for productive feeding. 

Operational improvements include cattle yards, workshop, shearing shed, hangar and fuel shed, as well as a three-bedroom homestead, guest quarters, and cottage.  

Extensive capital has been recently invested into fencing, infrastructure and pasture development. 

The property is being offered by Tim and Kerry Joseland and family, who intend to move closer to their children in southeast Queensland, but will retain their ties with the Central West.

The property is located 20km from Gundagai, 60km from Wagga Wagga, 178km from Albury, and 396km from Sydney. 

The holding includes two parcels: ‘Rivendell’ (240ha) and 'Rivendell North’(198ha).  

The fertile red loam soils with 55% arability, are suitable for cash/grazing crops, hay, and livestock.  

The property has been described as having “high-density stocking rates” with a carrying capacity of 4,500-4,800DSE.
