AuctionsPlus results for young cattle was stronger this week, assisted by an 8% decline in total supplies, at 20,565 head. With another record in the physical markets, online young cattle prices were dearer for all but one category, while proven and potential breeders were largely cheaper.

A disrupted and short-selling week failed to dampen the surge in cattle offered exclusively through AuctionsPlus this week, with a total of 19,631 head.
Overall lamb prices were largely steady, to slightly higher, except for the shedding lines, which contracted $70head.
This week was the annual Easter recess for physical wool auctions and the AWEX is indicating a large offering next week as a result.
