Following a reduced offering last week, sheep and lamb numbers for the regular Tuesday commercial sales rose by 15%, with 52,228 head listed across the two sales. Top listing regions for the week consisted of the NSW Central West (10,795 head), NSW Riverina (9,143 head) and SW Victoria (8,331 head). On the purchasing side, the NSW Riverina came out on top to secure 5,678 head, consisting mainly of first cross and Merino ewe and wether lambs.

A total of 45,316 head of sheep and lambs were offered across AuctionsPlus commercial sheep and lamb sales this week – a 21% decline in listings from last week.
AuctionsPlus commercial sheep and lamb numbers remained limited this week, with a total offering of 57,624 head – up 4% from last week
The first week of May had commercial sheep and lamb numbers back 11% on last week, to total 55,470 head.
In the final week of April, a total of 62,565 head of commercial sheep and lambs were offered through AuctionsPlus, a 36% increase week-on-week.
Sheep and lamb listings registered another decline this week, at 57,095 head – back 6% on last week.
For the fourth consecutive week, AuctionsPlus sheep and lamb listings registered a reduced offering, with a total of 60,820 head – back 8% from the previous week.
A total of 66,266 commercial sheep and lambs were offered through AuctionsPlus this week, down 24% on last weeks offering.
A total of 87,272 sheep and lambs were offered through AuctionsPlus this week, down 20% on the previous week and the second consecutive weekly drop in overall listings
