October machinery market sees increased clearance rates and high demand

During October there was a slight increase in clearance rates compared to the previous month and this trend looks to be continuing into November.

Queensland continues to shine, with strong buying and selling activity compared to other states. A 94% clearance average was achieved across the three Queenland clearing sales that ran during October.

Cropping plant and machinery received particularly strong interest, with some great results below:

The Jones Darriwell Clearing Sale at Trundle, NSW, run by MCC Forbes, was a highlight for the month.

This was a live auction interfaced with AuctionsPlus.

The sale grossed $3 million, with $456,000 going to online bidders across NSW, Victoria and South Australia. There were online bids on all 40 of the lots offered. View the full results here.
