Over the past fortnight, AuctionsPlus goat listings decreased by 10%, to 5,642 head. The sale on Tuesday September 7, hosted most of the numbers, with 4,627 head offered, with the balance in the following week. Listings were evenly split between NSW and Queensland. Western NSW offered the highest throughput at 2,406 head, closely followed by Western Queensland with 2,250 head. As numbers eased, so did buyer interest, with a 77% clearance rate achieved – down from 83% the previous fortnight.
