AuctionsPlus commercial sheep and lamb listings continued with their upward trend this week, with sales hitting 90,920 head listed – up 14%. Lambs continue to dominate the weekly offering, with new season lambs accounting for 57% of the market.

On the back of a reduced offering last week, AuctionsPlus commercial sheep and lamb listings for the week surged 87%, to 79,625 head – the highest weekly total since late March.
After last week's increased offerings, AuctionsPlus weekly commercial sheep and lamb listings for Tuesday 13th September took a step back, down 37% week-on-week, at 42,524 head.
Increased listings across the lamb category saw prices across three of the five categories ease on last week, with clearance rates mixed
The increased offering was a result of a rise in the National Lamb Sale, with 27,265 head offered, as new season lamb listings continued to increase
AuctionsPlus weekly commercial sheep and lamb sales registered an 11% rise on last week, to total 34,935 head.
A total of 31,473 head of sheep and lambs were listed across the two AuctionsPlus weekly commercial sales this week - a 2.4% reduction on last week.
AuctionsPlus sheep and lamb listings saw the lowest offering since the 9th Jan, 2021 with 32,257 head offered.
AuctionsPlus sheep and lamb listings for Tuesday’s commercial sales totalled 43,131 head this week - a 7% contraction on last week.
