Goat listings on AuctionsPlus increased by 23% during the past fortnight, totalling 6,270 head. The increase comes off the back of a strong offering this week, at 5,242 head, with the balance listed in the previous week. Western NSW offered the highest throughput, totalling 3,220 head, while southern and central Queensland listed a lower than usual volume, at only 842 head.

The AWEX Eastern Market Indicator (EMI) rose 19c on Tuesday and then fell 4c on Wednesday, overall closing out the week up 15c at 1,350c/kg, or 978c/kg in US dollar terms.
It was another massive winter week of offerings through AuctionsPlus cattle sales, with prices up across all ten young cattle categories.
AuctionsPlus sheep and lamb listings this week increased by 19,451 head – up 25% from the previous week, totalling 77,460 head.
Goat listings on AuctionsPlus over the last two weeks eased 13% from the previous fortnight, totalling 5,081 head.
