There were 1,631 active bidders logged in to AuctionsPlus machinery auctions in the past seven days, holding steady on previous weeks.
Total bids fell to 11,423, down 51%, and the bid rate settled at 67%. Overall demand softened compared with previous weeks, with buyers taking a more selective approach as supply contracted.
Total listings dropped sharply to 736 (down 44%), however online engagement held up well. Lot views lifted 64% to 238,000, and bidder logins climbed to 5,000. Favourites declined, suggesting buyers are watching closely but committing to fewer items. Higher passed-in numbers (124, up 126%) also reflected more cautious purchasing.
The top-viewed lot was a $58,000 Massey Ferguson 4608 tractor from Myola, Victoria, which drew 140 views. A Lyco hydraulic post rammer attracted the highest number of bids at 919, while a Trimble GPS/EZ-Steer bundle topped the bidder count with 15 bidders. The highest-priced purchase for the week was a John Deere 8320 tractor at $170,000 from Felton South, Queensland.
Engagement from Victoria, NSW and Queensland remained the strongest, with these states accounting for most of the top-performing lots and heaviest traffic across the platform.
