A total of 533 lots were listed this week on AuctionsPlus Machinery, down 64% from the previous period, with a clearance rate lifting 16% to 58%.
Bidding and engagement metrics softened, with 180 total buyers (down 53%) and 1,499 active bidders (down 29%), while total bids fell 30% to 6,763. Lot views dropped 53% to 69,000 and favourites fell 38%, suggesting buyers are focusing more narrowly on specific machinery rather than browsing widely.
Tractors and heavy tillage gear drew the strongest competition, particularly in clearing sales. Standout results came from the major sale at Glen Legh Station, Glen Innes (NSW), which dominated buyer attention. A Case IH 7250 sold for $410,000, topping the week’s results, while a Case IH 9250 Steiger drew 744 views and sold for $32,000. A Deutz Agrotron 108 tractor was the most favourited lot, listed at $30,000.
Overall, while market activity has eased from October’s highs, buyer confidence remains steady for quality, late-model equipment. With harvest underway and seasonal conditions steady across eastern states, demand is expected to hold firm in the weeks ahead.
