A total of 1,537 machinery lots were offered on AuctionsPlus this week, with 909 selling to deliver a 59% clearance rate. Buyer participation remained solid, with 421 buyers active and a bid rate of 69%. Encouragingly, prices strengthened, with lots selling an average of $715 above reserve - up 64.2% on the previous period.Tractors and broadacre machinery attracted the strongest competition, particularly reliable older units suited to mixed farming operations. Demand remained steady for practical equipment as producers continue preparing for seasonal workloads.

Victoria recorded several strong results, led by the Nhill & District Sporting Club Machinery Clearing Sale at Glenlee. The top-priced lot was a John Deere 8295R tractor, selling for $120,000. Other notable sales included a 1999 John Deere 9400 tractor at $80,000 after 50 bids, and a New Holland Versatile 9682 reaching $63,000.

With more than 155,000 lot views and over 8,000 bidders logging in across the week, buyer engagement remains strong. Demand is expected to hold steady as producers continue sourcing machinery ahead of key seasonal operations.
