Tattykeel ET 230158 was the top priced ram at the Tattykeel Australian White sale.
The Tattykeel Australian White sale at Black Springs, New South Wales has been crowned at the top, with Tattykeel ET 230158 selling to Regal Australian Whites, Auburn Vale Station, Inverell.
The 129kg April-drop ram, a reserve champion at the NSW Sheep Show, had proven his worth as a stud sire, producing 27 SIL ewes offered in the sale.
Earlier in the year, Northern NSW-based stud, Amarula Dorpers, shattered records at their 21st annual on-property sale. The stud set an impressive new top price of $50,000.

The $50,000 sale topper went under the hammer of auctioneer John Settree before attracting bids from all around the sale pen. The starting bid of $4000 was blown out of the water by other bidders.
The family operated stud from Gravesend cracked the half century mark through Amarula 221391 selling to return buyers Phil and Trish Palmer from Ivanhoe, NSW.
There were 32 registered bidders in attendance with 45 successful purchases online via AuctionsPlus.
