All the glitz and glamour of the fourth annual Brangus Ladies Invitational Notable Genetics Sale (BLING) will come to the fore under a new sale concept, interfaced with AuctionsPlus from the CQLX Austadium on Friday, May 15.

The sale features 30 lots of Brangus females from an impressive line-up of vendors including Bonox Brangus, Voewood Brangus, River Run Brangus, Lunar Brangus, Wildcard, Lazy S, Bauhinia Park, Earlwood, M1B Brangus, Kulkyne Brangus, N Bar Brangus, Circle H Brangus, Yaraandoo, Bates Brangus, Sandy Banks, Nampara Pastoral Company, Sunshine Brangus and Bullakeana.

New this year is a "Friday afternoon on the couch session," a pre-sale format where GDL host and auctioneer Josh Heck sits down one-on-one with each vendor to unpack the story behind their program. Interviews kick off at 5pm, streaming live in the sale header on the AuctionsPlus platform, before the auction opens at approximately 6pm.

"It really is about learning about their stud, what they have zero tolerance for, what their bloodlines are, why did they choose that female, and why is she in BLING?" said GDL Stud Stock's Georgie Connor.

AuctionsPlus Business Development Manager Carly Gaukroger said the format gives buyers something a catalogue simply can't.

"They're opening up their 'why' for their business. I think that's really important when selecting bloodlines and females for your future herd."

And true to its name, the night comes with a little extra sparkle.

"There is a diamond draw, and you must be present for that," said Ms Connor.

The Bling Brangus Female Sale starts on Friday, May 15 interfaced on AuctionsPlus from 5PM. View the sale catalogue here.
