Your guide to the 2026 weaner sales on AuctionsPlus

The 2026 selling season is set to commence in early January, with a comprehensive calendar of feature weaner, breeder and store cattle sales being offered through physical saleyards and interfaced online via AuctionsPlus.

While being present at the saleyards on sale day is not always possible, the AuctionsPlus interface allows buyers to bid live from wherever they may be, giving them the opportunity to participate in key regional sales.

By purchasing weaners through AuctionsPlus, buyers can reduce travel time and associated costs, while maintaining coverage across multiple selling centres in Victoria, southern New South Wales and Western Australia. Below is a guide to the January 2026 weaner sales, organised by date and region.

Early January Sales

Friday, January 2 – Friday, January 9

South-West Victoria

North-East Victoria

Mid-January: Peak Weaner Supply

Please note sale catalogues for AuctionsPlus-interfaced sales will populate with lots closer to the sale date. This allows vendors and agents time to finalise entries while ensuring buyers are viewing the most accurate and up-to-date information. We encourage buyers to check catalogues regularly as the sale approaches for the full listing of available lots.
