After more than a century in the hands of the same family, “Echuca Park” has sold for between $40-45m.
A 123.8 hectare property in the Echuca West Small Lot Subdivision Plan with a proposed 1200 lot subdivision for the future housing growth of the area has been sold to a developer.
It’s part of a long term plan that will determine how the Echuca West community will grow and develop over the next 40 years. Echuca is in northern Victoria, across the Murray River from the town of Moama, New South Wales, and it has a population of around 15,000 people.
Selling agent Andrew Miller from Nutrien Harcourts Echuca said 481 Stratton Roadd was sold by private treaty.
“We negotiated with 4 different parties,” he said. “The purchaser was a Melbourne property development company and they are starting the surveying and design next week.”
Mr Miller said the property has been a livestock farm for over 100 years and held by the same family.
“The vendors are very happy with the sale and process,” he said.
