‘Creek Heights’ in Wallabadah, 30 kilometres from Quirindi has sold for $6.85 million.
‘Creek Heights’ is a highly productive property that has easy access to both Killara and Caroona feedlots. Whilst being within close proximity to the townships of Tamworth just 65 kilometres away, Gunnedah is 100 kilometres and Scone - 90 kilometres drive.
The 974 hectare property was recently sold at auction for $6.85 million. Selling agent Richard Cudmore from Davidson Cameron & Co. - North East NSW said ‘Creek Heights’ is a magnificent property.
“The property was purchased in 2011 and the owner had done a lot of work and improvements to the property,” Mr Cudmore said.
Some of the improvements include a two stand shearing shed complete with machines, grinder, steel sheep yards and a three way draft, steel and timber cattle yards with an undercover race, a concrete round drafting yard all with power and water and four horse stables plus a saddlery shed.
Mr Cudmore said a Queensland based family with interests in the Hunter Valley purchased the farm.
“We saw spirited bidding in the auction,” he said. “The beauty of this property is that it's in a fantastic location, has high rainfall and high carrying capacity.”
‘Creek Heights’ also features a 7 bedroom, 3 bathroom renovated home with a modern kitchen, living area, ceiling fan, large slow combustion wood fire and fully ducted air-conditioning.
