Local Tamworth buyer pays $4.8m for two properties just down the road.
A local buyer has purchased both ‘Lumiere’ titles only minutes from Tamworth.
The properties, which were subdivided 15 years ago, feature Peel River frontage, refurbished homesteads, equine facilities, commanding views, and first-class irrigation facilities and water.
Selling agent George Barton from McCulloch Agencies in Tamworth said the location brought in a lot of interest.
“The location is a real asset,” he said.
“Being located on the banks of the Peel River offering 5 km of river frontage and boasting a combined 524 megalitres of both river, groundwater and fractured rock irrigation licences saw it garner lots of interest.”
“Lumiere has the unique balance of lifestyle, location, infrastructure and guaranteed income for the next 12 months.”
He said despite a nationwide search the successful purchaser came from just down the road.
“We ran a full national campaign, advertising it in every corner of Australia and it was a local who ended up buying it, literally from five kilometres down the road. We were happy with the price, the interest was that good we closed expressions of interest early and finalised the deal.”
